Lord Beaverbrook #33 Mourns the passing of Sister Rosemary Day

Sister Rosemary Joan Day
Sister Rosemary was born in St. John on April 10, 1953 and and died Feb. 27th, 2024. She is survived by one daughter Thara, grand-daughter Leigha, and great-granddaughter Jocelynn. She also has five living brothers and sisters.
She had great joy and zest for life, and was always busy, even when she should be resting, and rarely at home. She could usually be found at the church helping out with Saturday supper or brown bag lunch, at Bible study, church services or helping out with refreshments. If it was Friday night, you were sure to find her at her sister Diane's for supper which was a standing dinner date. The rest of the time she was likely running the roads with her best friend Anne.
Rosemary worked all her years as a bookkeeper, retiring only this past year at 70 years old, and yet she was extremely creative. She's done many crafts in her life including needlepoint, crochet, ceramics and helping sew new murals for Silver Falls Church. Even at 70, she was the go-to technical person for her family and friends.
She was an active member of Lord Beaverbrook Chapter #33 OES in Hampton which closed in 2022 and will be surely missed by her friends there.
Faith was central to Rosemary's life, and her church home at this time is Forest Hills Baptist Church. Prior to that it was Silver Falls United Church. She would always show up with a smile on her face and a song in her heart and on her lips.
Rosemary was well loved and will be sorely missed. A Celebration of Life service was held at Forest hills Baptist Church March 2nd.
