Worthy Grand Matron & Patron

SPECIAL Projects of the WGM & WGP

The Worthy Grand Matron, Sister Judy Donnelly's fund raising project is the Luxor Shriner's Transportation Fund. This fund uses money raised for the transportation of children from New Brunswick to Boston, Montreal, Philadelphia and Bathurst to receive medical treatment and checkups. This transportation and the hospital services are free to a parent and all children requiring medical assistance to walk and recover from serious burns.

The Worthy Grand Patron, Brother Kevin Wilson's fund raising project is in support of the New Brunswick Special Olympics. Special Olympics New Brunswick is a community based, non-profit organization with a focus on providing equal opportunities for athletes with mental disabilities throughout the province. Its primary instrument of program delivery is through community sport clubs, which are operated by a team of volunteer coaches. These programs give athletes the opportunity to train twelve months of the year in order to compete and test their skills against other athletes of similar ability. All funds donated to Special Olympics New Brunswick supports more than 1500 participants across the province.
