It is with profound sadness that the family of Roy Albert Wilson wishes to announce his passing on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024 at the Dartmouth General Hospital, N.S.
Roy was born in Hartford, NB on May 15, 1934 to the late William and Eva Wilson.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years Sybil Wilson and loving family Wendy Russell (Robin), Janice Poirier (Robbie), Heather Lively (Ian).Grandchildren Stephen, Matthew, Hunter, Sonja and Shelby along with their spouses and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Faye Kenney, sister-in-law Fay Wilson, brother-in-law Ian Gordon (Linda) and sister-in-law Gail Gordon, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bro. Roy was predeceased by his parents, brother Ralph Wilson, brother Harry Wilson and wife Betty, brother-in-law Norval Kenney, brother-in-law Bill Gordon, sister-in-law Marguerite Fraser and her husband Don.
Funeral services will be held the Culberson Funeral Home, Woodstock, NB in the spring on a day & time to be announced. Interment will take place at the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
