Brother Gordon Wilmot Belyea, 72 of Riverview passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 21, 2024. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Ralph and Courtney (Miller) Belyea. Gordon was a member of St. John’s United Church where he served as a Church Elder, a member of the Senior Choir and Men’s Choir, past member of Beaver Curling Club, Past Master of Keith Lodge #23 F & AM, Luxor Shriners-Moncton Temple, and Past Patron of Frank H. Tingley #5 O.E.S.,
Gordon is survived by his siblings Peggy DeWare, of Moncton, Lesley McDavid (Ken) of Red Deer, AB and Stuart Belyea (Kim) of Moncton, nieces and nephews Alex (Chrissy) and their children Bella, Lilly and Willow; Emily (Neil) and their children Ellie and Andi; Bradley (Natasha) and their children Charlotte and Hazel; Adam (Holly) and their children Sylvie and Audrey.
In addition to his parents, Gordon was predeceased by his wife Ivy (Campbell) Belyea.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton (506-858-1995) on Saturday, from 2 to 4 pm. A Funeral service to be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 2:00 pm, with The Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Frank H. Tingley #5 O.E.S. memorial service will be held on Sunday at 1:15 pm, followed by Keith Lodge #23 F & AM service will be at 1:30 pm. Reception to follow the service. Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery, in the spring.
