It is with heavy hearts that the family of Susan Geneau of Maple View, NB, announce her unexpected passing on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Susan was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on October 11, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Bette (Ross) Howard.
She Leaves behind her loving husband of 50 years, Philip Geneau; her daughter Elizabeth Brayall of Plaster Rock, NB; her sons, Ross Geneau of Fredericton, NB, Adam Geneau (Jennifer) of Fredericton, NB, and Michael Geneau (Cara) of Blue Mountain Bend, NB; her grandchildren, Shaneil, Ethan, Aaden, Jillian, Asher, Parker, Bentley, and Addison; her brother, Sean Howard of Saint John, NB; along with many friends.
Susan is predeceased by her parents; and her brother, Donald Howard.
Sister Susan was the secretary at Tobique Valley High School for over 40 years. As well as a member of Victoria Chapter #01, Sister Susan was a Past Matron of the former Tobique Chapter #23, Gr. Esther in 2015-16 for Sis. Lynda & Bro. David and Grand Adah in 2019-21 for Sis. Charlotte & Bro. Ron. There will be an Eastern Star Memorial Service held at the church on Saturday at 12:45 pm.
Resting at the Plaster Rock United Baptist Church with visitation on Friday from 6-8 pm and on Saturday from 1-3 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 3 pm from the church. Rev. Lorne Freake officiating. Interment will follow in the Burntland Brook Cemetery.
