Philip A. Jerguson Chapter #18 mourns the passing of Sister "Helen" Boyer

Sister Helen E.”Betty” Boyer
With gratitude for a life well filled with laughter and love we announce the passing of Helen Elisabeth {Betty} Boyer. Born in Bathurst on August 2nd 1932 to Carl and Inez {Jagoe} Hills. She became an RNA and worked at Annex in Saint John and founded an Adult Daycare Centre at Centenary Queen Square United Church and worked as their activity director for many years.
She was a faithful member of Portland United Church. She was a Life Member of Philip A Jerguson Chapter No. 18 and Past Matron of former Saint John Chapter No.14.
Sister Betty is survived by her husband of 71 years Clifford Boyer, her brother Tom Hills {Connie} Ottawa, sister-in -law Sybil Hills Bathurst, and six children David {Patti}, Linda {William} Lee {Joanne} Douglas {Melana} Michael {Mary Ann}, Todd; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the care of Castle Funeral Home Saint John with visitation on May 22nd and Memorial Service in Castle “Fallsview” Chapel with a reception following service and Interment in Maces Bay Cemetery.
