Bonnie was beloved by her close circle of friends and family. After retirement she enjoyed several years of relaxation and travel, including to the UK, China, and much of the United States, before her illness set in. Bonnie and Bill loved to spend the winters in Florida, and while she was home in Rothesay Bonnie took great pride in her flower garden, the most beautiful in the neighborhood. Bonnie enjoyed cooking, reading novels, and playing cards. Family came first to Bonnie. She was loving, supportive, protective, but also brutally honest. She was known as a fiercely smart and dependable woman, and many people came to her for advice and guidance. Bonnie was deeply loved, and her passing is a great loss.
