Pauline Keirstead, 95, of Hopewell Hill passed away peacefully on October 30th, 2023 at the Moncton Hospital. She was born in Midway on March 2, 1928 the daughter of the late Vaughn and Lila (Fullerton) Daley.
Pauline's first priority in her life was her family. Her home was filled with love and she was always there for her husband, children and grandchildren. Her faith was important to her and she attended the Midway Baptist Church in her early years, then the Alma Baptist Church and lastly the Riverside-Albert Baptist Church. She was active in the Order of the Eastern Star having served as Worthy Matron many times and was very active over the years taking part in many of their events. She was a talented baker and enjoyed making her own bread, rolls, pies and sweets of all kinds. She was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting and doing puzzles, she also enjoyed her garden. Pauline was young at heart and never seemed to be her age. She was a young 95 for sure. She was blessed to be able to live with her son Robert and his wife Nancy and be close to her family. She was an inspiration for all and a true example of how to live.
Pauline will be remembered by her community as a kind, caring and generous woman who always had a smile and willingness to help others. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed by her sons, Robert Keirstead (Nancy) of Hopewell Hill and Gary Keirstead (Stacey) of Moncton; her treasured grandchildren, James (Jennifer), Jeff (Rikki), David (Chelsea) and Michelle (Barjona); her cherished great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Wyatt, Grayson and Benjamin. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews and many good friends, her church family and by her sisters and brothers in the Order of the Eastern Star.
