1953 – 2023
It is with sadness the family of Gail M. Caldwell announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023 at her home in McAdam, N.B.
She was born on March 10th, 1953 at the Harvey Hospital, Harvey Station, N.B., daughter of the late Arthur and Edna Herron.
Gail is survived by her daughter, Tammy Caldwell (Jimmy Highers), three grandchildren, Jenna, Ally and Emily, two great-grandchildren, Elliott and Edy, one brother, Ed Herron (Sylvia), brother-in-law, Harold McIntyre, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Terry Caldwell; siblings, Kay DeWitt, Myrna McIntyre, Malcolm Herron and Douglas Herron.
Gail was a 27-year member of the Order if the Eastern Star. She was initiated on September 3rd, 1996, becoming a member of York Chapter No.13, McAdam, NB. She was the Worthy Matron in 2003 with Donald Kinney serving as her Worthy Patron. Gail affiliated with Unity Chapter No.35 on March 26th, 2008. Gail served as the Grand Warder for Lynn Hutchin and Ebby Kuhn during their “Hooked on Star” Grand Chapter Session from 2009 to 2010. She was also appointed as Grand Representative of Indiana in 2006 and of Utah in 2014.
Unity Chapter No.35, Order of the Eastern Star will conduct a tribute service immediately followed by a graveside service with Rev. Terry Messer officiating at the Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, N.B. on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 11 AM.
