Lottie L. Kyle Scholarship

Lottie L. Kyle was the founder and first Worthy Matron of our first O.E.S. Chapter (Victoria Chapter No.1, Woodstock) in New Brunswick. Twenty years later, she was elected as our first Worthy Grand Matron of the Grand Chapter of New Brunswick. This scholarship recognizes and commemorates these milestone events.

The Lottie L. Kyle (LLK) Scholarship is open to application by a Daughter, Son or Grand-child of a member of the Order of the Eastern Star; such member shall be a resident and belonging to a Chapter in New Brunswick.

Applicants must have attained requirements to an Educational Facility and, in the case of first-year students, be recommended by her or his High School Principal and, in the case of students entering subsequent years of study, be recommended by the Professor/instructor of the last year completed. In either case, the application shall be accompanied by the final Official Transcript for the latest completed year of study.
The value of the Lottie L. Kyle Memorial Scholarship shall be $1,000.00. The remaining awards shall be $250 for all other applicants; approval to be left to the discretion of the LLK Scholarship Committee. Prospective applicants must download the LLK application, complete the form in full. Applications for Scholarships will not be accepted after the first day of the Grand Chapter Sessions.
