Rose E. Scott, 76, of Moncton, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday evening, April 29, 2015. A devoted teacher with over 37 years' service, Rose retired from Gunningsville Elementary School. She was a faithful member of Fidelity Chapter #36 Order of the Eastern Star, Riverview, where she began her Eastern Star journey in 1982. She served in various offices of Fidelity Chapter over the years. Rose served as Grand Chaplain in 1993 and was the Worthy Grand Matron of the Grand Chapter of New Brunswick 1997 -1998, with Brother Carr Graham as her Worthy Grand Patron for “The Tie That Binds” Session. She served as General Grand Chapter Committee Member for the 2000 - 2003 Triennium serving on the Eastern Star Journal Committee for General Grand Chapter.
An Eastern Star memorial service was provided by members of Fidelity Chapter #36, Riverview. A funeral service to celebrate Sister Rose's life was held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from Ferguson-Knowles Funeral Home in Moncton, NB.
Rose will be sadly missed by her loving son, Jonathan Scott of Moncton; her four-legged companion, “Muffin”, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James G. Scott (May 2013) and sister, Iva.

more perfect, more divine.”
