St Stephen #8 was saddened by the passing of Sis. Pauline Messer


St Stephen Chapter # 8 was saddened by the passing of Sis. Pauline Messer on February 17, 2015. Sis Pauline was initiated into St Stephen Chapter # 8 on Nov. 17, 1952.
She was the daughter of the late Bill and Ethel (Brown) Cameron and was born in Tower Hill, NB. She attended school in Tower Hill and St Stephen and was a hairdresser. She was married to the late Robert Messer and lived in St Stephen and relocated to Truro NS for his work and retired and lived in Saint John, NB.
She loved entertaining at their cottage in Oak Bay and enjoyed a good game of cribbage and doing word find puzzles. She had a passion for gardening, flower arranging and decorating for all the holidays and was a faithful Toronto Blue Jays fan.
She is survived by her son Dayle (Carolyn), Saint John, daughters Sharon (Bud) Gardiner, Barrie, Ontario, and Brenda (Ken) Bylund, New Minus, NS, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, sister Marguerite Giddens, Tower Hill, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by her sister Helen Watson and granddaughter Jennifer Bylund.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in St Stephen and interment will be in Moores Mills Cemetery.
