Born in 1918, Sister Muriel of Fredericton, NB passed away peacefully at York Care Centre on March 14th, 2018. She was the wife of the late Alton Phillips.
Sister Muriel joined Celestial on February 21, 1946 and served as Worthy Matron 1988-1989. She had been Grand Representative of Oklahoma in 2002-2004 and Grand Electa 2004-2005. During her years of membership she also took other offices, most memorably she was our Marshal and Chaplain and received her 25 year certificate and pin in 1971 and 50 year certificate and pin in 1996. She was always involved in our caterings and serving others.
She was a devoted mother of two daughters Bonnie Mazerolle and Maddie Boies predeceased by one son Wayne. She had three Grandsons and two Great Grandsons
