Granite #15 mourns the loss of Sis. Helen "Mildred" Justason

Granite Chapter # 15 was saddened by the passing of Sister Helen "Mildred" Justason of Pennfield NB at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB on Feb. 5, 2016. Born in Pennfield on July 12 1927, she was the daughter of the late Oscar H. and Mildred M. (Maguire) Armstrong and wife of the late Abner “Lewis” Justason of Pennfield NB.
A loving sister-in-law, aunt and friend, Mildred is survived by one sister-in-law: Clara McLean of New River, NB; two brothers-in-law: Jack Miller of St. Stephen NB and Murray Justason of Sussex and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers: Warren Armstrong and Watson Armstrong; three sister: Frances Miller, Mae Johnston and Margaret Maxwell.
Sister Mid joined Granite Chapter in June of 1958. She server as Worthy Matron of the Chapter in 1965, 1966 and 1979 and server in several offices throughout the years.
An Order of the Eastern Star Tribute service was held on Monday and the funeral service was held Tuesday at the St. George Funeral Home with Rev. Reg Ward officiating. Interment will take place in Elmsville NB this spring.
