Fort Monckton Chapter #11 was saddened by the loss of Sister Beulah Gertrude Davidson

Fort Monckton Chapter #11 was saddened by the passing of Sister Beulah Davidson, age 89, of Tidnish Bridge, N.S.. Beulah passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Gables Lodge, Amherst, N.S. on Wed., October 14, 2015.
Beulah was a member of the Tidnish Bridge United Church and the former United Church Women.
Sister Beulah was initiated into our Order April 24,1953 and received her 60 year Pin on June 15,2013. She was presented with her Life Membership on Nov. 25, 2013.She took an active part in community affairs (always ready with her shortbread cookies) and enjoyed quilting, knitting and handy work.
She will be dearly missed by daughter, Trudy Weir (Nelson Taggert), Tidnish Bridge, N.S.; sons Gary (Dodie), Roland & Gregory (Winnie) all of Tidnish Bridge; son-in-law Gary Connick, Bridgewater, NS; 16 grandchildren; 24 gr.grandchildren; brother Raymond(Vi)Laing, Lawrence-town, NS; sis.-in-law Rose Laing, Sherbrooke, NS.
Besides her parents Bruce & Annie (Dingle) Laing, she was predeceased by her husband Sherman; son Bruce; daughter Lorena Connick; son in law John Weir; daughter in law Holly Davidson; sister Edith Chappell; brother Aubrey Laing. Our deepest sympathy is extended to Sister Beulah's family.
An O.E.S. Service was held Oct.17th at Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, Amherst. The funeral was held the following day in the Chapel with Wayne Jarvis, DLM officiating. The Charter was draped in loving memory of Sis. Beulah at our stated meeting held October 26, 2015.
